We offer the same meals for both types of batch meals. Please specify OAP or slimming upon order. 

The Batch Menu - Most Popular 

All meals are made by our team and then frozen for freshness. We care about the produce we use and try and ensure as much of the ingredients are sourced locally as possible. We only use lean meats and low fat spray whilst cooking, to ensure we are following the principles of healthy eating. The menu items are those that our own Nic has developed and used in her Slimming Journey. Follow @thebatchbaker for more tips and advice on how to loose and keep off those pounds. If you fancy a night out or a treat in a café, rest assured the Bistro menu has plenty of options for you too. Any numbers or points assigned to a meal are only an advisory. Please see below for cooking instructions. The dishes are not served with sides unless otherwise stated. We advice all customers to apply 1/3 vegetables (speed foods) to all meals. Did you know that the sausages we use in the Bistro are Nic's own recipe and are also slim friendly?!?

Lasagne 

A traditional style lasagne made with a lean Bolognese sauce topped with slim friendly cheese. The cheese sauce contains one A choice. Contains gluten. 

Mayflower Chinese Curry 

This is a popular Chinese dish. We normally make this with chicken, but it can come as vegetarian. If you like Chinese curry, from a takeaway, this is the dish for you. At only 4* it is a slimmer choice for a takeaway style meal. Contains gluten. 

Creamy Mustard Pork 

A Nicky recipe! This creamy mustard pork actually contains no dairy. Lean cuts of pork are cooked with onions and mushrooms in a mustard sauce. You will need to point this at 2*

Diet Cola Chicken 

Another popular slimming recipe. Nic has created her own version of this recipe, using; Chinese five spice, soy sauce, diet cola and garlic. We can make this vegetarian upon request. There are no points in this dish making it a popular fakeaway. 

Aisan Style Meals 

Please cook all our frozen meals for a minimum of 10 minutes in the microwave. Stir the contents half way through and then adjust the remaining time accordingly. You may need to add a few extra minutes depending on the heat setting. Keep the lid on, but slightly lifted to start with and then remove the lid for the remainder of the cooking  time. 

Fanta Chicken 

If you like lemon or orange chicken from the Chinese takeaway, this is the alternative for you. It contains no points and is made similar to diet cola chicken, but, with light soy and Fanta instead. With fresh lemon and orange juice too. We can make this vegetarian upon request. 

Korean Chicken 

This is Sammy's favourite! Crispy chilli chicken served with egg fried rice. Crispy air fried chilli chicken in a sweet chilli sauce. This has a spice kick to it! You will need to save 3* for this dish. Contains gluten and soy. 

Chinese Noodles

Our Chinese noodles are made using egg noodles sourced from the Green Life Pantry. They are the best egg noodles around. We use a soy, garlic, ginger and five spice, combined with chicken, as well as locally sourced vegetables in this recipe. We can make this dish vegetarian upon request. Contains gluten. There are no points to count here.

Thai Green/Red

Tammi makes the best Thai Green and/or Red curry. They are becoming increasingly popular and need to be pre-ordered! Made with chicken and contain coconut. These are pointed at 2*. 

Indian Inspired Dishes

Balti 

A mild tomato based curry cooked with masala spices. Chicken or vegetarian. Contains no gluten and no points! 

Jalfrezi 

A slightly spicier curry cooked using tikka and garam masala spices. A popular spice blend. We usually cook this dish with chicken, but, it can be made vegetarian. This dish contains no gluten or points!

Masala 

A mild creamy curry using garam masala and tikka spices. This dish does contain cream and as such you need to point it at 2*. We usually cook with chicken, but, you can request this to be vegetarian. 

Keema 

The most popular of the curries we cook at home. We can offer a South African style or curried style keema. The South African is a sweet and sour style mince keema, whist the other is more curry based. Contains gluten. These are point free. 

TexMex

Colarado Beans

This is a yummy tapas style dish and always finds its way to our tapas events at the Bistro. It contains a variety of different beans and sausages in a spicy chilli sauce. You need to point the sausages in this recipe at 4* 

Campfire Stew 

A favourite amongst Slimmer's. This is a slow roasted gammon dish, with cumin and other texmex spices, cooked down with a variety of different beans. This is a point free dish and contains no gluten. 

Chilli con Carne 

The quickest selling dish we offer and very popular within the Bistro too. Low fat mince is cooked in a tomato, cumin and chilli sauce with kidney beans. Completely point free and does not contain gluten. 

Fajita Buritto

Chicken and vegetables cooked in fajita spices, combined with an A choice of cheese, topped with tomato sauce (Burrito style)

Cottage Pie 

A popular comfort food dish using low fat mince and topped with mash. You do not need to point this dish as we use jacket potatoes to make our mash and do not add any butter. You can top at home with cheese if you would like. Contains gluten as we use oxo cubes to thicken the gravy.

These come with variety of different fillings. Please choose your fillings from the following list;

The best way to cook these are to defrost first and then cook in the oven for 5 minutes until crispy.

Sausage Casserole

Our bistro bangers are back and make the best sausage casserole. This dish needs pointing at 2* we can make this with vegetarian sausages upon request. 

Cheese & Tomato Bake 

A popular vegetarian dish containing baked beans, cheese and fresh tomatoes. You only need to point the cheese as an A choice.

These items do not come frozen unless requested. These items are made fresh to order. 

Baked Oats

Our baked oat muffins contain one B choice per muffin. The filling could then cost you points. But these are specific to the flavour you choose. 

Choose from;

Carrot Cake, Lemon and Lime, Tropical, Chocolate or Fruity.

Overnight Oats

A popular breakfast choice. These contain one B choice per tray and are made using low fat yoghurt.

Churros 

Low fat Churros served with Nutella! Homemade using our churro maker and NOT deep fried. These are then tossed in sweetener and cinnamon.

Low fat chocolate cake? Yes it does exist. This is the most popular of our slimming cakes and contains actual chocolate for your chocolate fix.
